Benefits of Yoga, Pilates and Meditation
Yoga
Practice of any form of yoga helps to enhance muscular strength, flexibility and relieves stress. It is a system which was developed by ancient Yogis and Saints for the health and well being of mankind. The practice of yoga on regular basis improves blood circulation; detoxify our body from physical, mental and spiritual impurities. More importantly, yoga relieves mental and physical stress as we all have so much of busy lives. There are so many benefits the system of yoga has to offer that it is difficult to put all of them in black and white. Most importantly, Yoga is for complete total health and well being for every human being regardless of age, origin, gender etc.
Pilates
The system of Pilates mainly focuses on core strength in a human body. The practice of Pilates helps greatly and quickly in reducing extra fat from the belly, waist and thighs. It is totally a safe practice just like yoga but the movements are fast which quickly burns out the extra fat and builds the core strength i.e. pelvic region which is the store house of energies.
Meditation
The practice of meditation is to focus our mind inwardly. To withdraw the awareness from the outer world to the inner world that is full of peace and calmness.The yogic way of meditation is usually done by chanting of the Vedic mantras. The mantras are the mystic form of energies in the sound form. When the mantras are chanted in a proper way and in the right, it invokes the divine energies inside the body and practioners feels oneness with the Supreme Being and feels complete bliss. More importantly, all the mental stress, worries and tensions simply disappear when the nervous system calms down in the meditation.
