Beginner Yoga- All Levels
In this class you will learn the fundamental poses of yoga, sun salutations, breath work, all while working towards practising full sequencing. We will take the time to break down asanas (poses) and work on proper alignment. Suitable for beginners or those yogis looking to get back to the basics.
Stretch and Unwind- All Levels
Looking to de-stress? This class emphasizes on postures to stretch, open and release the entire body. We with hold postures longer in a more Restorative/Yin manner. We will spend the last 10 minutes of class in relaxation (savasana). Suitable for all levels.
Mindful Vinyasa Flow- Level 2
Come unwind, stretch, flow, and connect with your breath. Use this practice as a moving meditation as we flow from posture to posture with the mindful emphasis on connecting with the breath. Level 1/2
Gentle Vinyasa Flow- Level 1/2
Move through a sequence of postures at a slower, mindful pace connecting movement with breath. This class will also focus on some deeper stretches to open up the body. Suitable for students of all levels.
Yoga Sculpt- Level 2
Yoga Sculpt has a strong focus on strength and intensity. We will warm up the body with Sun Salutations A or B. Sculpt practice combines yoga with light hand held weights, making it unlike your typical yoga class and more like a workout class. This class can be done without the weights. Level 2.
Core Power Flow- Level 2/3
Find your inner strength and feel inspired from deep within! This is an energizing and vigorous class combining strengthening and Vinyasa flow. It will get your heart rate up to challenge your endurance, build strength and flexibility and increase core strength. Strength training is one of the most effective ways to help tone and prevent muscle loss. While enhancing your body awareness and muscle endurance you'll be able to enrich your yoga practice and perform everyday tasks at greater ease. Be prepared to maybe laugh and maybe sweat a little! Ideal for students who have been practicing yoga on a regular basis. Some yoga experience is recommended. (i.e. Sun Salutations, foundation poses, etc.).
Power Vinyasa- Level 2/3
This vigorous vinyasa style yoga practice will have you focusing on building strength, flexibility, and balance through mindful movement. In this class, you can expect inversions, arm balances, and numerous strength-building postures. Being more than just a physical practice, this class will leave you feeling energetic and alleviated in the body and mind. It is recommended that you have previous experience with yoga before attending this class.
Vinyasa Flow- All Levels
Expect a full body strengthening and toning class, complimented by different breathing exercises (pranayama), mudras and meditations. Leave this class with a full heart and light spirit!
Pilates is unique in that, unlike yoga and other activities, it’s origin is relatively recent. Pilates was created in 1920 by Joseph Pilates for physical rehabilitation. The idea behind Pilates is to gain flexibility, strength and body awareness without building bulk. Pilates has a full mat routine, in addition to exercises that can only be performed on certain Pilates machines. The main goal of Pilates is to strengthen the abdominals, improve posture, stabilize and elongate the spine and develop balance and overall strength. There are six key principles in Pilates: breathing, centering, concentration, control, precision and flow. You will create a leaner better you from your core muscles out. Pilates will give you that long, toned body you desire.
Pilates Mat Class Foundations- Level 1
This class is ideal for beginners and those who want a safe and effective class experience to build a solid Pilates foundation. The focus will be on breathing, form and alignment to help you master the Pilates fundamentals so that you can get the most out of your workout as your practice becomes more advanced.
Pilates Mat Class Progression- Level 1.5-2
In this class you will continue to build your practice with more complex movements and use of props. Class tempo is moderate and focuses on a steady class flow. Intermediate exercises and coordinated movements are introduced with modifications and progressions.
